"LOVED swimming in Newfound Lake! The course was clearly marked for easy sighting, and the water is so clean and clear. I had a fantastic ride around the Lake - hilly enough to be a challenge but loving the long downhills and flats, as well as the greatly improved road condition. The bike and run were also really well marked, so thank you for that!"
"Very well run! The water in Newfound Lake is the clearest I've ever seen. The bike had just enough hill to level ground so your legs didn't get absolutely crushed. If anyone it thinking about their first one, this is the one!" - Brian -
I loved everything about this event!" - Heather -
"A huge thank you to you, your family, the organizing team, and all the volunteers for putting on a great race once again. Absolutely best-in-class venue and organization. The signage is amazing--way better than at the age group world championships the weekend before! It makes such a difference to the athletes to be able to clearly see how the transition will flow, where the mount line is, turnarounds, mile markers, etc. It could not be better. It also feels like a very athlete-centered race where you are really focused on making it a smooth and fun experience for us. " - Michelle -
"This was my 3rd consecutive Lakes Region Sprint Triathlon...great location, challenging course, very well run, wonderful volunteers, outstanding setup, signage, attention to detail...you folks get it...right up there as one of my favorite triathlons."
"This was an absolutely fantastic race. I'm sure the glorious weather contributed, but I loved the venue. I'd never been to Wellington State Park before, but I will definitely be there again. This goes on my list of races to repeat for sure. My only regret is that doing the sprint, I wasn't on the course long enough. Next year, the Olympic!"
